From their early days the founders of Highland Morning never settled for good enough. When they discovered that in many neighborhoods, good; really good breakfast was an afterthought, they set out on a mission to make great food from the best quality ingredients right in the heart of Louisville. Now, their mission to be undeniably better than “good enough” applies not only to our breakfast and lunch, but everything they do.
The first location opened its doors as Highland Morning on Bardstown Road in 2011. Offering breakfast and lunch foods that illicit feelings of home cooking comfort, the founders confirmed what they suspected all along - that there was a strong demand for the kind of fresh and authentic Breakfast that people love, but seldom have time to prepare.
